Chinese Soldier

Observations: Chinese soldier in front of bright yellow fireworks.
He is in dark colored military uniform.
Serious face and a proper stance.
He is the center of the image.
Chaos in background.
His eyes are clearly focused on an object or thinking of something.
The picture is angled where he seems taller.
Inferences:
Possibly making a strong statement about China, a rivalry for U.S.
He seems staid and proud about the closing ceremony.
He is fastened on his mind, not on the atmosphere around him.
Maybe there is an excuse for him to be standing there during the closing of the Olympics.
How the person shot this picture wanted to show of China's military.

This photograph has untold aspects. When someone first percieves the picture, the Chinese soldier captures the eye because of the contrasting colors between his dim tinted uniform and the radiant beaming fireworks. The photographer snapped the picture at this particular angle to have the soldier appear substantial possibly to present China's military significance. The soldier evidently is oblivious of his surroundings because he has a staid facial expression that has one spectating what he is thinking. He is feasibly pondering about his egotistic beliefs and how spirited he is of his people's achievements.

Observing: favorite color
light green
mechanical pencil
cheap

erases

Inferring: I chose cheap for a reason, I'm broke
quanity instead of quality
I prefer pencils over pens since they erase
mechanical pencils are better than wooden to me
everyone writes in pens
